 Burnett County Forestry is aware of the heaved concrete plank at the boat launch. It is on their to-do list to get this fixed as soon as possible. The plank also has protruding metal that has a risk of puncturing tires.
Launch your boat with caution until this issue is fixed.

The parks team has visited the landing and pulled out this curb element. It looks as though they've inspected some of the rest of the curbs which are also uneven under water, but they have left them as they are. It looks like some new bolts were added to those steel pieces on a couple underwater curbs but they do still look as though they could be hard on tires. Be careful. Leave a Reply. |
